Three professional fire departments had their turntables custom-made with these retaining loops. "For us, this was a good reason to make this excellent idea standard as part of our product improvement," said Benjamin Thoran, Managing Director of B-Dienst Media GmbH. Therefore, new turntables will now come with two of these loops. Existing customers can easily have their turntables retrofitted if needed.
Function of the article:
These collars are used for training firefighters and in performance competitions and assessments. They identify the individual roles within the tactical unit and allow instructors/judges to clearly identify these roles, even from a distance. The collars are designed so that the team (by color) and the team section (by a line marking) are always recognizable from all directions (360°). The collars are attached to the front flap of the fire-resistant jackets using a practical hook-and-loop system. Elastic bands under the arms prevent them from riding up.
