Our mission

Feuerkids® is a company that offers equipment for children's and youth fire brigades (and the operational unit). What makes it special: Feuerkids® develops its own equipment and offers products that are unavailable anywhere else. The company was founded in 2015 in Bruchköbel, Hesse (20 km east of Frankfurt am Main) and is owner-operated.

From practice for the future

The minds behind Feuerkids® come from practical experience and understand the challenges and enormous importance of generating qualified young talent through children's and youth programs. The fire service, too, must continuously adapt to developments in our society. This is a huge task, shouldered daily by children's and youth leaders. These individuals, with their ideas, concepts, and methods of knowledge transfer, are the ones who contribute to the success of recruiting young members.

Learning for the heroes of tomorrow

Feuerkids® stands for modern, contemporary, and practical training. We support youth fire brigade leaders with our ideas and products, enabling them to present the knowledge they need to convey in an engaging and authentic way. All of this is done with a focus on legal requirements and the regulations of accident insurance companies. In our opinion, this is the only way we can contribute to the long-term preservation of volunteer fire and disaster protection in Germany. We at Feuerkids® offer our products because, for us, the children's fire brigade is so much more than just playing, crafting, and looking at fire engines from the outside. With over 15 years of experience as children's fire brigade leaders, we know one thing for sure: Children come to the fire brigade primarily to "play firefighter" and absorb knowledge like a sponge. Children want the "real thing." Give it to them, and they will become enthusiastic firefighters!

Why we reject the " Open Increasing Theory "

You hear it all the time: "Absolutely no uniforms for the junior fire brigade. Otherwise, the children won't have any incentive to move up to the youth fire brigade." Let's be honest: If the uniform is the only reason to join the youth fire brigade, then those in charge urgently need to do their homework. Because: The youth fire brigade is so much more than that! The uniform simply signals belonging and a sense of "we." That's crucial for a team.

And this issue should always be viewed from another perspective: In many places, fire departments complain about a lack of appreciation. The reasons and forms of this complaint vary. But one should always ask why the children and young people in the fire department shouldn't be shown appreciation. Isn't their perseverance our most valuable asset for a functioning fire department in the medium-term future?
