Made in Germany Our Feuerkids® training axe is the safe, weight-reduced alternative to the real fire axe according to DIN 14900 – developed specifically for training in the youth fire brigade .
Weighing only 0.8 kg, it is around 67% lighter than the original (2.4 kg) and therefore ideal for use in youth training.
Thanks to the rubber head and the rounded impact guard, the training axe offers maximum safety with realistic handling.
🧠 Why a training axe?
Youth fire brigades are not allowed to use real tools with cutting edges or striking surfaces – and this is exactly where our Feuerkids® axe comes in.
It teaches realistic training sequences without risk of injury:

⚠️ Usage & Safety
The training axe is intended solely for practice purposes .
It is not suitable for splitting, prying or opening components.
Please note:

No deployment in active fire service

Not suitable for self-rescue or securing a retreat route

No mechanical work (e.g. splitting, prying, breaking open)
Check for visible damage before each use.
If the axe shows signs of cracking, material fatigue, or delamination, it must not be used further .
